5 Adult leaders and 5 Scouts raced SV Scout, a 1998 Sydney 41 racing yacht up to Mackinac Island in July of 2021. This years Mac was comparably easy on the sailors compared to years past, and the crew completed the 333 mile course in 2 days, 9 hours earning a 10th place finish in the 11 boat Division 4 group. Three first timers and 1 Old Goat got it done safely and several also decided to stay aboard for the delivery back to Monroe Harbor. Final tally was 8 days at sea and about 689 nautical miles sailed. Congrats Ship 5111 and all the supporters that made this trip happen.
